Gallarate – On the roof of Parah th sun of clean energy shines

It was launched a roof of solar panels of 1.347 sqm on the former Bellora, now headquarters of Parah S.p.a.

An investment of 600 thousands euros that will be paid of in seven years, the industrial archeology building of the former Bellora in via Leonardo da Vinci was implemented with a solar panel system with a power of 190 kilowatts. 1.347 sqm of panels of european technology, made with completely recyclable materials, are placed on the bays in order not to change the original structure of the historical building (original shingles was maintained and no other element was added) and not to compromise the aesthetics.

The system, designed by studio Garoni in Cairate and made by F.lli Zaffaroni in Jerago under the direction of Architect Giovanni Crosta, is already working: according to esteems it will cover the 65% of the annual need of electricity of the factory, allowing to save the equivalent of 57 tons of oil and 140 tons of CO2 emissions.
